The main mission of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology from its inception was to provide the opportunity of studying engineering sciences and its high quality technical application. This would be provided for all students from all over Egypt, the neighboring Arab countries and other nations, who fulfill the entry requirements of the Supreme Council of Egyptian universities. In addition, the faculty would also participate in developing engineering and technical applications in Egypt.
The aim of the Faculty is to achieve professional excellence for its graduates through the continuous development of the educational programs, upgrading the laboratories and providing them with the state of art equipment and knowledgeable teaching staff, who are highly capable of using the latest educational technology, updating teaching methods, as well as pursuing high quality research work.
Our Objective is to prepare graduates who are specialists in different fields of engineering and technical and applied science to help society using their chosen area of expertise and also contribute to the research which covers different fields of engineering. Our research may participate in future planning through setting development strategies for continuous development of educational programs that assess their performance.
To be recognized nationally and internationally for education, research, and leadership in the engineering profession. The strategic characteristics and aspirations will enable the faculty to realize its vision by providing an atmosphere that facilitates personal commitment to the educational success of students in an environment that values diversity and community. Education and research partnerships with health sciences, businesses and other related colleges, and with targeted agencies, universities and industries help us to ensure highly successful alumni who contribute to the profession in a global society. Resource management and contemporary and rigorous undergraduate curricula help to prepare graduates for successful careers. Research and advanced problem solving skills, needed to address complex, interdisciplinary engineering problems, assist our vision. Research programs with strong support from professional constituencies, have to meet society’s needs in order that we can be seen as leading the advance of the engineering profession.
