• To promote advanced knowledge about dental anatomy and physiology. • To provide expanded knowledge about human dentition. • To serve as a basis for understanding the clinical course such as Pedodontics, Orthodontics, Operative dentistry, Endodontics as well as prothodontics and crown and bridges

a. Knowledge and Understanding:

1- Define the different parts of the oral cavity
2- Describe macro and micro anatomy of the teeth
3- Select the appropriate tooth identification system needed in any dental
4- Define the anatomical landmarks of the crowns of teeth
5- Draw and describe the morphological feature of different type of teeth and
6- Identify both deciduous and permanent teeth and memorize the chronology

8- Describe the anatomical changes induced in the mandible by age.
