Development and Training

 

A) Employee's Orientation & Rotating System:

Employee is entitled for a tour orientation and sometimes a one month rotation among different faculties and departments in order to be familiar with other places and duties (according to working and position needs).

B) Employee's Hand outs:

A handout book is given to a newly hired employee stating benefits, rules & regulations implemented at FUE campus with a clear verification of personnel rights according to Egyptian laws & regulations.

C) Performance Review & Development:

All employees are eligible for a merit interview on an annual basis. Exceptions may include those hired into temporary, externally funded positions and those who have not completed the new hire probationary period.

 

The purpose of the merit review is to provide an opportunity for employee and supervisor to discuss the employee's performance over the past year in the context of the employee's position responsibilities and the objectives of the department or work unit .Supervisors are expected to complete a written performance appraisal for each of their employees, in concert with the university's performance management system, and to schedule time to discuss the appraisal with the employee. Each employee is provided an opportunity to respond to the appraisal in writing. The supervisor's appraisal and the employee's response both become a permanent part of the employee's personnel file in the department of Human Resources.

D) Training for Employees:

A clear schedule providing training needs for all employees on various levels, through a well reputable chain of training companies & trainers, providing different training skills for employees.

 

E) Summer Training & Hiring Students:

Summer Training & hiring of FUE students is one of the main targets of HR, trying to approach , organize with companies the training process, in addition to giving several sessions & courses for students in interview's process & the ability to pass these process successfully. Also, you can submit your C.V. through the first employment Fair that will be held at the University Campus by coming May 2010
