About Student Life

 

The Student Life Department at Future University in Egypt provides support for students from all of the University’s Faculties – the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industries and the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology.

We offer student support, advice and guidance for national and international students on activities, social work, disability issues and social counseling.  In addition we offer information and guidance concerning the student union and cultural services such as music, playing instruments, drama, acting, choir courses, various clubs and other organizations.

We are committed to offering high quality services that help develop your personal and creative potential throughout your academic life on campus. The Student Life Department offers many opportunities for students to take part in activities, share experiences and enthusiasm for the things you love with other students.Becoming involved in activities and volunteering is a great way to meet like-minded students and enhance your university experience!

Statutes for establishment FUE STUDENT CLUBS

Formed from different Student Clubs participating in various activities, thus encouraging students to become involved in the FUE community and formation of Clubs and Societies sponsoring such activities as, but not limited to, lectures, films, shows and exhibitions as well as trips to places of historic, scientific or other interest in Egypt


Regulations for Student Clubs and Groups

1. Name and effective date of regulation: Regulations of Student Activities come into effect from date of recognition and signed by the University President.

2. Student Activities: signifies Student Union activities and all activities of families/clubs at the University.

3. Method of Implementation: Every student must sign an affirmation committing to uphold these regulations and other University rules and regulations

4. Registration

A. Each student will register his name and complete the Activity Form at the Students Life and Welfare Department at the beginning of each semester in the section for the desired activity type.

B. After registration, the student will be given a card allowing attendance and participation in the activity.

C. Every student must possess his university ID at all times.

5. Registration Rules

Every student must execute the following at registration:

A. Bring University ID.

B. Medical Report certifying being sound of body and that sports or physical activities are not health threatening.

C. Two copies of tuition fees  settlement receipt and insurance.

6. Registration Period:
Within two weeks from start of semester  – excluding time to establish families/or club as approved by Director of Student Life and Welfare Department. – which is valid all year round

7. Discipline and Behavior

 A. The student must adhere to behaving in a disciplined manner at all times and in all places, conforming with public morals and traditions and in compliance with University rules and regulations.

 B. The student must respect religious beliefs and places of prayer.

 C. The student must act respectfully towards teachers and activities supervisors and base his relationship with fellow students on mutual respect and understanding.

 D. The student must not act in any manner that may jeopardize his safety or health or that of others

 E. The student must uphold a presentable appearance while exercising any academic, cultural, athletic or social activity. The person in charge of the activity has the authority to determine if appearance is deemed presentable and appropriate and his decision is considered as final in this regard. Student must comply with the advice of the Activity Responsible. 

 F. It is absolutely forbidden that the student consumes alcohol or drugs or any intoxicating substance on campus or during trips or activities.

 G. The student must attend lectures, exams and tests in accordance with academic regulations issued by the college, with activities to be exercised during free time.

    •  It is allowed to ask permission for non-attendance of lectures for external official tournaments by providing proof from the Student Life and Welfare Department and informing the College Dean and obtaining his approval

    •  Students must display exemplary behavior in classrooms, laboratories, study areas and sports and activities grounds.

8.  University Properties:
Students will take full care of University properties and comply with all rules and regulations relating to the use of equipment and areas reserved for activities.

9.  Observing Laws and Customs

The student will follow codes of conduct in conformity with prevailing laws and customs and is prohibited at all times and in all places from committing acts that may impugn his own or the University’s reputation.
