UCOSMIC Consortium

Future University has signed many academic co-operation agreements with some of the most distinguished universities in the world.
These agreements include faculty and student exchange, dual accreditation of degrees, continuing education and certificate programs whether taught on campus or by distance learning
Future University in Egypt (FUE) along with many prestigious universities in North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia is a member of the UCosmic Consortium. Membership also includes two key educational associations: The College Board and the Institute of International Education.
UCosmic, an online international data-management system, provides its members a comprehensive system to track and monitor its international activities and agreements. It is an open-source software platform that features common data standards for mapping the global activities of member institutions. FUE’s membership includes participation in annual conferences and affords a set of networking resources for expanding its own international partnerships and associations with prominent universities across five continents.

Temple University
is a comprehensive public research university with over 34,000 students located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
In 2009, Future University signed a protocol for partnering with Temple University’s Schools of Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Engineering. The agreement was signed at the US Embassy in Egypt and was witnessed by the US Ambassador to Egypt, Ms. Margaret Scobey. Temple and Future Universities have developed joint arrangements in teaching, research and related collaboration.
Activities between the two parties include exchange of faculty and undergraduate, professional and graduate students as well as exchange of scholars for lectures, talks, conferences, colloquia, symposia and other academic experiences. We have developed joint programs as specified in individual school agreements and collaborative research activities and publications developed through the research linkages of individual professors.

Nova Southeastern University
is a not-for-profit, fully accredited, coeducational institution in the USA. It was founded in 1964 and is well known for innovation and quality in both traditional and distance education.
Fifteen students from the faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industries attended several Clinical Pharmacy and Drug Information lectures, with rotation in different hospital departments such as Psychiatry and Community Pharmacy. Also, they were trained on practicing Aseptic techniques and using drug information to solve clinical problems.

BA School of Business, Riga Latvia
In 2008 Future University set an agreement between its Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration and BA School of Business and Finance, Riga, Latvia. The agreement fosters scientific cooperation between the two institutions by facilitating joint research and educational programs.
To realize the objectives of this agreement, the parties have agreed to participate in EU funded programs, promote the exchange of graduate and postgraduate students, participate in seminars, workshops and conferences organized by both parties. The agreement is also intended to promote the exchange of publications and documentation on current research projects, and conduct collaborative scientific research.

Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA:
The agreement with LSU was signed in June 2010. The purpose of this agreement is to promote international understanding and scholarly collaboration between the two Universities. The agreement involves exchange of faculty members as visiting professors, undergraduate students, exchange of scholars for lectures, talks, conferences, symposia and other academic experiences.
1-Faculty and Students Exchange
2 -Special efforts will be undertaken to arrange cooperative ventures beyond the direct exchange of staff, including educational research projects, exchange of teaching resources, and cooperative curriculum development efforts.
3 -The designated representatives at each institution will develop a plan for special activities that are undertaken.
4 - FUE and LSU agree to exchange publications, scholarly materials, and official publications, as appropriate.
5 - Other international cooperative projects between FUE and LSU, such as conferences and joint research projects.
Faculty of Earth Science and Engineering, University of Miskolc, Hungary
The aim of the agreement with the University of Miskolc is to promote the academic, scientific, technical and cultural relations through but not restricted to academic exchanges, scientific research, professional internships and technical cooperation.
The exchange scheme includes professors, scientists, staff members, specialists, students and technicians. This exchange will be for the purpose of exchanging scientific experience and for teaching purposes at FUE, exchanging views on joint research projects and joint theses supervision, participating in conferences and post-graduate courses. Also there will be exchange visits of undergraduate and postgraduate students. The aim is to work on part of their theses and conduct experimental work at FEE.
1- Exchange of professors, scientists and staff members will be for the purpose of exchanging scientific experience and for teaching purposes at FUE, giving lectures, exchanging views on joint research projects and joint theses supervision, participating in conferences, symposia and post-graduate courses at FUE. This should be achieved through a proposal indicating a well-defined subject for study or discussion and a clear plan for the visit.
2- Exchange of young staff members or specialists: the aim is to maintain scientific working relationships among staff members and scientists in both sides. II.3. Visits of under-graduate (BSc) and post- graduate (MSc and PhD) students of FUE to FEE. The aim is to be trained or conduct a part of their theses’ experimental work at FEE.
3- To allow staff members and qualified graduate students of both institutions to visit the other institution or affiliated institutions, for the purpose of individual research or to become members of a research team
4- To allow each institution to have access to public resources of the other, such as libraries, film and slide libraries, technical and academic materials depositories, laboratories and studies for the purpose of enriching and developing their own resources as well as the use of both logos in publications, printings and official websites.
Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA
The aim of the agreement is to promote the academic, scientific, technical and cultural relations between FUE and Missouri S&T, through but not restricted to academic exchanges, scientific research, professional internships and technical cooperation. The agreement is also aimed at collaboration between the two universities in establishing the Petroleum Engineering Department as an added value to the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Future University. This agreement was signed on 18th of May 2011.
1- Facilitating recruitment and exchange of Faculty, researches and visiting Professors.
2- Collaboration in establishing an undergraduate program in Petroleum engineering at FUE
3- Exchange of academic material
4- Publication of the results of collaborative research projects

3. Training FUE Faculty to conduct program and course assessment
4. Review FUE's Computers Science and Engineering programs self-study report.
5. Visit FUE annually
6. University of Connecticut will issue a certificate of completion to FUE undergraduate students
