FUE is subscribed to a list of comprehensive world-class academic databases in different disciplines including two helpful databases for FEPS student. All databases are accessible on-campus through this URL: http://search.ebscohost.com

Upon entering select the following two:

• Academic Search Complete is the world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 8,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,300 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. Searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,400 journals.

   

•  Political Science Complete (PSC) provides full text for more than 520 journals, and indexing and abstracts for over 2,900 titles, (including top-ranked scholarly journals), many of which are unique to the product. The database also features over 340 full-text reference books and monographs, and over 36,000 full-text conference papers, including those of the International Political Science Association.
  

• Citation Manual

• Plagiarism Guidelines

Plagiarism, in the school's jargon called "copying and pasting", is the intentional act of replicating someone else's work (be it text, ideas, images, or any non-common knowledge) without referring to the source. One can also self-plagiarize through submitting his/her own work to more than one course without clearly notifying the professor. To avoid plagiarism you can easily include a reference list written in the appropriate form. Students are expected to speak their own minds through reading, understanding, and interacting with the literature they encounter through their course of study at FUE.
