Street Art Week & Community Service

The Student Life Department’s Art Section is delighted to announce that Street Art Week & Community Service is scheduled to start on Tuesday, November 22 and ends on Wednesday November 23, 2016 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
Apart from the competitions and contests that follow, Community Service Team will undertake the responsibility of beautifying the 90th Street. This task entails drawing on and painting walls as well as repainting speed bumps.
Highlights of the event include:
Recycling Contest
1. Painting on T-shirts
2. Painting on empty bottles
3. Painting on old bags
4. Painting on old shoes
Street Art Contest
1. Chalk drawing on the ground
2. Painting on cloth
3. Handcraft
4. Freehand drawing (with pencil color, pencil, paint, graffiti etc. …)
5. Media coverage of an event entailing the production of a documentary movie that should not exceed the 10 minutes.
Prizes:
First position: LE 150
Second position: LE 100
Note:
- Participants need to return their bags and shoes to get new ones
- Prizes will only be given for the productions that are worthy of it
