The mechanical engineering component of the course covers vectors, vector algebra, motion of body in two and three dimensions, equilibrium of a body and its elastic properties, mechanical oscillations as well as mechanical waves. Electromagnetics incudes electrostatics, electrodynamics, magneto-dynamics, electromagnetic waves, light wave, X-ray as well as gamma ray and laser.
