- economicspoliticalscience is one of the six faculties at the Future University in Egypt. It offers undergraduate students a wide range of majors, minors and courses options in the fields of Economics, Political Science, Public Administration and Political Mass Media. The Faculty aims at providing a unique program of high quality education; serving as a starting point for potential career development whilst proactively equipping economicspoliticalscience graduates with the needs of a highly competitive labor market. This is covering a range of career tracks whether in the public, non-profit, or private sectors. The Faculty is distinctive for several reasons. Firstly, FUE is the only private academic institution embracing a faculty of this interdisciplinary nature. Secondly, economicspoliticalscience recruits high caliber academicians and practitioners as academic staff, many of whom are internationally renowned, bringing with them years of international experience in their field of expertise. In addition, an interdisciplinary social science faculty, all of the economicspoliticalscience staff work together in a team spirit, bringing about a wide range of social science perspectives and employing it into teaching, learning and social problem-solving. Finally, but not limited to, economicspoliticalscience rigorously pursues research projects and training on topics of pressing global and regional significance.
- economicspoliticalscience hosts 6 research centers covering a diverse set of topics and fields. They offer unique opportunities for capacity building for both academic staff and students. Through operating the academic centers, economicspoliticalscience staff member gain a diverse set of skills both academic and administrative. In addition, students are allowed to take internships at the centers that would count in the optional 3 credit hours course dedicated for internships and simulations. The academic centers at economicspoliticalscience are: Future Center for Political and Security Studies (FCPSS), Future Center for American Studies (FCAS), Future Center for Economic and Financial Studies (FCEFS), Future Center for Public Policy Analysis (FCPPA), Future Center for Public Opinion Polls (FCPOP), and Future Center for Chinese Studies (FCCS).
- Future Journal of Social Sciences (FJSS) is a semi-annual academic journal issued by economicspoliticalscience, FUE. It is devoted to the publication of academic interdisciplinary research related to the fields of political sciences and economics. Contributions may cover public policy, public administration, political mass media, political and economic development, macroeconomics, intergovernmental relations, and international and global affairs.
