Dr. Wael Mamdouh is a tenure-track “Assistant Professor” of Nanotechnology, at the Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences and Engineering at AUC and the leader of the “Biomedical Polymer Nanocomposites, Hydrogels and Tissue Engineering” research group at AUC. He has received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Science: Chemistry from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (K. U. Leuven) in Belgium in 2002 and 2005 respectively. He published 34 in international Journals including “Nature”& “Nature Nanotechnology”.
