Dr. Christian Nowak is application manager for lactose based excipients at MEGGLE BG Excipients & Technology, Germany. He earned his degree in Pharmacy and PhD from the University of Leipzig, focusing on the development and characterization of protein-drug delivery systems based on hydrogels. His present areas of interest and publication are found in the fields of inhalative and solid dosage form pharmaceutics, as well as pharmaceutical technology emphasizing innovation strategies such as co-processed excipients. Currently he is active in all aspects of product quality under special consideration of mathematical and statistical models and tools. He supports clients in drug development and formulation trouble shooting, and hosts tableting workshops in Asia, Europe and Latin America. Dr. Nowak is a traditional presenter at relevant scientific congresses such as AAPS and PBP world meeting.
