The overall aims of the course are: 1- Enrich students' knowledge about the principles of socialization and the development of society. 2- Prepare students to provide analytical perspective of society and everyday life through sociological theories. 3- Enrich students’ knowledge about professional responsibilities, ethical, cultural values and social stratification, social problems, race and ethnicity, conformity, deviance, urban living, social change, and social movements.
