Graduation Ceremony 2019Future University in Egypt holds its Graduation Ceremony for its tenth class of students in September 22, 23, 24, 2019. The Ceremony will take place at Al Manara International Conferences Center.Faculties of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industries as well as Computers and Information Technology will take place on Sunday, September 22, 2019.Faculties of Oral and Dental Medicine as well as Economics and Political Science will take place on Monday, September 23, 2019.Faculties of Engineering and Technology as well as Commerce and Business Administration will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2019.Graduating students are requested to pick up their caps, gowns and invitations starting August 25, 2019 to September 5, 2019 from 11 am to 4 pm .

UCC Summer School 2019
UCC Summer School 2019The University College Cork (UCC) Clinical and Industrial Pharmacy Summer School had been organised in association with Future University in Egypt (FUE). UCC and FUE have an existing cooperation agreement whereby UCC supports the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Industries, FUE in the delivery of an enhanced Pharmacy degree program.As an extension of this cooperation agreement, and with a view to further enhancing internationalisation activities at both universities, the School of Pharmacy at UCC had designed an intensive two week summer school in Clinical and Industrial Pharmacy.Eighteen undergraduate pharmacy students from FUE had traveled to UCC to partake in this program. The Summer School, which is delivered by academic staff in UCC, provided high-caliber lectures and professional training in Clinical and Industrial Pharmacy.

UCC Visit to FUE
Five academic staff members from UCC (Dr. Cormac Gahan, Dr. Abina Crean, Dr. Tim O’Sullivan, Dr. Margaret Bermingham and Dr. Kevin Murphy) visited FUE during March 2019. This visit was under the agreement of both universities for a teaching collaboration between them. The five professors were involved in teaching the following subjects: Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry II, (level 1), Pharmaceutics I (level 2), Pharmacy Practice I (level 3), Pharmacotherapeutics I (level 4) and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (level 5). All of the staff members from UCC used interactive quizzes and the online student response systems (Socrative) during their lectures at FUE. Student participation with the quizzes and online MCQ questions was high with positive feedback was received from the students.
