The Department of Pharmacy Practice and Clinical Pharmacy offers several courses to introduce the student to clinical pharmacy practice, develop skills integrated with knowledge which enables students to improve their practice of pharmacy. Students will be equipped to promote, develop, and assess pharmacy practice within their profession, which will be of direct benefit to the health services and to the patients they serve.
1) Courses delivered by the department had been expanded in the new curriculum to cover about 35 hours pharmacy practice which include: Pharmacotherapy, Clinical pharmacy, Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology, Community pharmacy, Drug information, Marketing and Pharmacoeconomics, Pharmacy practice 1 & 2.
2) Our facilities include five labs equipped with 72 computers connected with LAN school and three educational pharmacies.
3) Within each computer, There is an E-library which can be used for active problem-solving and computer-based learning.
