Future University in Egypt Signs two memorandums of understanding provide job opportunities for young people
On Monday 30th of July, 2018, two memorandums of understanding were signed between Future University in Egypt, the Federation of Egyptian Industries and the Egyptian Association for the Development of Franchise in cooperation with the Arab Council for Community Responsibility.
The Agreements aim to implement initiatives, activities , studies and research on the use of community responsibility programs to develop the skills required for employment, improve working conditions and promote creativity, entrepreneurship in technology and sustainable products and services that meet societal needs and support the role of stakeholders in developing and applying Community Responsibility practices and in promoting responsible corporate behavior.
Eng. Tariq Tawfiq, Vice President of the Egyptian Federation of Industries, said that the role of Corporate Social Responsibility in activating sustainable development policies and interpreting them into realistic activities that are compatible with the local context and in line with government programs and how to achieve sustainable development in different dimensions in a balanced and integrated manner and to benefit from these programs in providing new employment opportunities for youth and women, especially in rural and remote areas through partnerships that combine international experience with the Egyptian reality.
Maged Fahmy, Secretary-General, Future University in Egypt, stressed that the University aims, through partnerships with the business community, to encourage studies and research on social responsibility issues and to relate them to development requirements and the needs of all concerned parties to improve the performance of CSR initiatives based on sound scientific foundations. Taking into account practical considerations and the current situation in Egypt.
Future University in Egypt is interested in promoting development-oriented policies that support productive activities, job creation for youth, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Mr. Hussein Abu El Fath, Secretary General of the Egyptian Association for the Development of the Franchise, referred to the role of the Franchise in promoting sustainable and comprehensive development, increasing national competitiveness rates, supporting foreign direct investment and increasing employment rates by creating more jobs.
