The English Language Department

The English Language Department is a service department that provides language instruction to students from the six faculties at FUE. As English is the medium of instruction at all the faculties, students are expected to have a level of language proficiency that will enable them to communicate adequately within their field. The ELD strives to ensure that the students have the necessary language skills to be able to function within an academic environment and in the global workforce.

The English Language Department also serves the community through providing English Language training and professional development opportunities to a diverse range of audiences. It offers a range of General English Language courses, English teacher training services such as CELTA as well as internationally recognized English proficiency tests (CEPT, IELTS and OET).

Our Vision
