Balancing Demands and Responsibilities
FUE Psychological and human development center organized a seminar on know yourself on 19th of October 2016. It was held at FUE theatre and lasted for two hours from 1 pm to 3 pm. The center had the honor and pleasure to invite Prof. Dr. Hashem Bahary, chairman of psychiatric Department at Al- Azhar University to present the seminar. The topic of presentation supported the center's efforts in increasing and establishing the mental health awareness among students and helped them to develop and understand themselves. There was a great collaboration and support between all departments in the preparation and announcement of the seminar.
Dr. Hashem had a great appreciation for the warm welcome from FUE top administrators. As the plan for seminar to be open discussion and interactive, the students, who were able to attend, were encouraged to feel free in discussing and asking any question related to them with emphasis in respecting and listening to each other.
It was exciting to see students actively participate and able to talk freely about meaningful concerns related to relationships with others, accepting and communicating with others, planning for future life, and meeting the challenge we need to navigate through life and balance family cultural values and social pressure.
The conclusion the participants were much aware about the vital role of psychology in our life and how the psychological aspects play significant role in our life and the need for future psychological presentations.
Dr. Hashem thanks the appreciation of FUE and he expressed his happiness for being among of FUE students, took some photos with students and the center's staff. He summarized the issues that were discussed during the seminar to the FUE media department.
