Course Description

Fundamentals of measuring, transmitting, recording temperature, pressure, flow, force, displacement, and velocity; laboratory component emphasizes systems used in manufacturing. The course will also cover statistical tests to evaluate quality of measurements, standard methods of characterizing measurement results, and methods for characterizing the measurement system response.

By the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
