Course Description

This course covers subjects related to the different techniques used in the repair of bridges. These techniques depend mainly on some key factors specific to the existing structure and they include: types of bridge material, the structural evaluation of the bridge, expected future loads, material used in repair, the analysis and design of repair processes, impact of the repair techniques on the future architectural and structural behaviors of the bridge as well as the feasibility studies of the repair process covering the cost-via-liengineeringime of the repaired structure.
