Course Description

This course is designed to offer trainees with the opportunity to explore, learn, and apply marketing principles. It includes introduction to the process through customer, customer chain, marketing mix-4 Ps, product life cycle, customer types, medical representative, promotion, sample, brochure, marketing, target, and market plan, marketing environments, market research and marketing information systems, marketing mix, buyer behavior, market segmentation, target markets and marketing objectives. It embraces the principles for marketing, planning & control through the development of knowledge and skills in formulating marketing plans, situation analysis, objectives, strategies, marketing mix, action plans, and monitoring and control. It offers the steps for marketing research through developing skills and knowledge in designing, conducting and analyzing market research and in formulating marketing strategies.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, the participant will be able to:

  • Recognize the theoretical foundations, methodology and detailed analysis used for drug marketing
  • Implement the ethics, regulations and policies for drug marketing environments, market research and marketing information systems
  • Develop skills and knowledge in designing, conducting and analyzing market research and in formulating marketing strategies
