Professor Abdel-Raman N. Zekri is Prof. of Molecular Virology and Immunology, Head of Human Genetic Center and Vice Dean of National Cancer Institute“NCI”, Cairo University. Professor Zekri has more than 200 international publications in his field of specialty. He contributed effectively in 30 national and international projects with eminent researchers from distinguished research centers in USA (USAID, Harvard University, NIH, Fox Chase Cancer center, U.C Davies California, University of Michigan and M.D Andresen Cancer center), and Germany (ULM University and ESSEN University). He also was the PI of many projects funded by the Egyptian STDF. He supervised more than 150 MD, Ph.D & MSc and was honored with many prestigious awards nationally and internationally. His lab in the NCI has the first and only Egyptian whole genome data base.
