Prof. Ebada Sarhan

President of Future University in Egypt

Professor Ebada Sarhan is an Egyptian pioneer in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology with over 35 years of professional international and regional experience, over 45 scientific articles and books, and various consultancy projects.

He is the founding President of Future University in Egypt. He founded the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology at Helwan University, the first faculty of its kind in a public university in Egypt. Prior to that, he established the Scientific Computing Center at Helwan University and held several academic positions leading to his promotion to Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology at the University.

He is a member of several organizations including: the Egyptian Academy for Scientific Research and Technology, the Egyptian Computer Society, the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate, the Scientific Committee of the International Conference of Artificial Intelligence, and the Egyptian Teachers’ Syndicate. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Future Computer Journal.

He was also an active member of the National Information Committee at the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the Egyptian National Council for ICT, and a member of the Computer and Information Systems Sector Committee at the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities.

He is a member of several professional international organizations including: the British Computer Society, the UK Institution of Electrical Engineers, and the IEEE. He was also a member of the Evaluation Committee of IT Projects and Undergraduate Degrees of Computer Science at Ajman Faculty at the Ministry of Higher Education in the UAE.

Prof. Abeer ElKorany

Dean of Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, Future University in Egypt

Prof. Abeer Elkorany is a distinguished academic and leader in Computer Science with over 30 years of experience spanning education, research, and government consultancy. She earned her B.Sc. (Honors), M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, completing her doctorate in 2002. She began her career at the Central Laboratory for Agricultural Expert Systems (CLAES), focusing on expert systems development.

As a core faculty member at Cairo University since 2002, she taught a broad spectrum of advanced courses and served as Head of the Computer Science Department (2014–2023). She also coordinated the Master of Software Engineering program (2015–2024). Prof. Elkorany became Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology at Future University in September 2025.

Beyond academia, Prof. Elkorany has significantly contributed to national digital initiatives. She served as a consultant for ITIDA (2008–2010) and as Director of the Academic Committee for Content Development at the MCIT (2022–2025), contributing to the Digital Egypt Cubs and Marble Initiatives.

She has authored over 70 national and international publications, with research focusing on AI, Machine Learning, Semantic Web, ontology development, social network analysis, and recommender systems. She has also supervised numerous national and international research projects.

Prof. Awad Khalil

Dean of International Accreditation, Future University in Egypt

Prof. Awad Khalil received his B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering in 1970 from the Military Technical College and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Rennes-I University, France, in 1979 and 1981 respectively. He has played a pioneering role in developing computer engineering and computer science programs at several national and private universities across Egypt and the Arab region.

He has organized numerous conferences and workshops and is an active member of various international societies and program committees of global conferences. His research interests include Cybersecurity, Digital Web Systems, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data Analytics.

Assoc. Prof. Wael Zakaria

Vice Dean for Postgraduate and Research, Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, Future University in Egypt

Dr. Wael Zakaria is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the Faculty of Computers and Information Technology, Future University in Egypt. He has over 20 years of expertise in academia and research, specializing in Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Data Science, Machine Learning, EEG signal processing, and Bioinformatics.

Throughout his career, he has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Head of the Computer Science Division, Director of the IT Unit, and Director of the Quality Assurance Unit. He has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses such as Databases, Machine Learning, Data Structures, and Computer Vision.

His professional record includes numerous publications, project management experience, and graduate supervision across multiple AI and data-driven disciplines.
