Future University in Egypt successfully hosted the "Designing AR Experiences with No-Code Tools" workshop at the VR Lab, Faculty of Computers and Information Technology (FCIT) on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
The fullday workshop welcomed students from a wide range of international and language schools, giving them the opportunity to explore the world of Augmented Reality (AR) through practical, hands-on learning. Designed for beginners, the event introduced participants to creating AR experiences without writing a single line of code, making advanced technology more accessible to young learners.
Introducing Students to No-Code Augmented Reality
The workshop focused on helping school students understand the fundamentals of No-Code Augmented Reality development. Instead of learning complex programming languages, participants discovered how modern platforms allow anyone with creativity and curiosity to design engaging AR experiences.
Throughout the day, students learned how AR technology works and explored how it is being used in education, business, healthcare, entertainment, and many other industries. The sessions encouraged students to think creatively while building practical digital skills that are becoming increasingly valuable in today's technology-driven world.
Hands-On Learning Through Interactive Activities
One of the highlights of the workshop was its practical approach. Every session combined theoretical concepts with real applications, allowing students to immediately apply what they had learned.
Participants explored several key topics, including:
Introduction to No-Code Augmented Reality
Designing AR scenes
Creating interactive triggers
Importing 3D models
Publishing AR content
Developing their own student projects
By working step by step, students gained confidence as they transformed simple ideas into interactive AR experiences.
Students Created Their Own AR Projects
By the end of the workshop, every participant successfully designed and published a basic Augmented Reality experience.
This achievement reflected more than technical learning. It demonstrated the students' creativity, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to experiment with emerging technologies. Seeing their own digital projects come to life was one of the most rewarding moments of the day and highlighted the importance of experiential learning in technology education.
Bringing Together Students from Different Schools
The workshop welcomed enthusiastic students from several schools across Egypt, creating an engaging environment where participants exchanged ideas and learned from one another.
Participating schools included:
British International Modern School
Ramses International School
Smart International School
Merag Egyptian International School
Inspire Language School
STEM October 11 District
Te Kura
Al-Waha International School
Capital International School
International School of Choueifat
Samir Fahmy Language School
Collège du Sacré-Cœur
The diversity of participating schools enriched the learning experience and encouraged collaboration among students with different educational backgrounds.
