Future University in Egypt (FUE) proudly celebrates another remarkable achievement by its Faculty of Pharmacy students, as a team of internship-year students presented their graduation project on the nationally broadcast radio program "مصر بتتقدم بيهم" (Egypt Advances Through Them) on 108 FM, Youth and Sports Radio on June 23, 2026.
The participation reflects FUE's continuous commitment to preparing graduates who can effectively communicate scientific knowledge to the public and contribute to raising health awareness through evidence-based education.
Promoting Healthy Living Through Science
During the radio interview, the students highlighted one of today's most important public health topics: building a sustainable healthy lifestyle based on scientific evidence rather than misconceptions or restrictive trends.
Their graduation project emphasized that maintaining good health is not about deprivation or following unverified dietary regimens but about adopting balanced daily habits that support both physical and mental well-being.
The discussion focused on several key pillars of a healthy lifestyle, including:
- Balanced nutrition that incorporates whole grains, lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats.
- Practicing moderation in food portions while limiting excessive sugar and saturated fats.
- Regular physical activity to enhance cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles, and improve mental wellness.
- The importance of quality sleep in supporting immunity and restoring energy.
- Adequate hydration to maintain essential body functions.
Raising Awareness Against Health Myths
A significant part of the presentation addressed the growing spread of nutrition myths and misleading health information.
The students stressed the importance of relying on scientifically validated medical advice and warned against replacing prescribed medications with unproven diets or health trends.
They also emphasized that patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension should always consult healthcare professionals and continue their prescribed treatment plans, as no nutritional approach can substitute evidence-based medical care.
Their message encouraged the public to make informed health decisions based on credible scientific sources rather than misinformation circulating on social media.
Empowering Future Pharmacists to Educate Society
The participation demonstrates the Faculty of Pharmacy's dedication to developing graduates who are not only academically competent but also capable of engaging with the community and promoting public health.
By participating in national media platforms, FUE students gain valuable experience in translating complex scientific concepts into practical advice that benefits society, reinforcing the University's vision of producing healthcare professionals who make meaningful contributions beyond the classroom.
The Students Behind the Project
The graduation project was presented by the following Faculty of Pharmacy internship-year students:
- Youmna Hussein Elsawy
- Mohamed Magdy ElSayed
- Mohamed Waleed Mohamed
Their appearance on "مصر بتتقدم بيهم" showcased both their scientific knowledge and their ability to communicate health information in a clear, responsible, and accessible manner.
