Future University in Egypt (FUE) proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of two distinguished alumni from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Alia Khaled Zein Elabdeen (Class of 2021) and Dr. Esraa Islam Ahmed Haider (Class of 2020), who have been awarded the Best Research Award in the Supportive Care and Survivorship Track at the ESMO Breast Cancer 2026 Congress, held in Berlin, Germany.

The award-winning study, conducted at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Egypt, is titled:
"Feasibility and Acceptability of a QR-Based Digital Medication Education Tool Integrated with Pharmacist Counseling for Breast Cancer Patients."
The research explores an innovative digital approach to patient education by integrating QR-based medication information with pharmacist-led counseling. Designed to enhance patient understanding, treatment adherence, and supportive care, the study demonstrates how technology and clinical pharmacy practice can work together to improve the overall healthcare experience for breast cancer patients.
