Bridging Knowledge and Practice: FUE Pharmacy Students Gain Hands-On Industry Experience at Pharco Pharmaceuticals
At Future University in Egypt (FUE), education goes beyond the classroom. The University is deeply committed to preparing its students for the future by integrating academic excellence with real-world experience. This vision was clearly reflected in a recent educational field trip organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy to Pharco Pharmaceuticals, one of Egypt’s leading pharmaceutical companies.
The trip, held as part of the Medicinal Chemistry I course, brought together a group of enthusiastic Level 3 Pharmacy students who were eager to see how the theories and concepts they study are applied in the pharmaceutical industry. During their visit, students were immersed in the fascinating world of drug formulation and production, witnessing firsthand how medicines are developed, manufactured, and packaged to meet global standards.
Throughout the tour, students explored various sections of the factory, including production lines for solid, semi-solid, and sterile preparations, as well as blending and packaging units. They also gained valuable insights into quality control procedures, understanding how safety, precision, and innovation come together in the making of effective pharmaceutical products.
Such experiential learning opportunities are a cornerstone of FUE’s educational philosophy. The Faculty of Pharmacy consistently seeks to bridge the gap between theory and practice, ensuring that students graduate not only with strong academic foundations but also with the professional and technical skills required to excel in today’s fast-evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
This initiative highlights FUE’s dedication to keeping its students at the forefront of innovation, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to become future leaders in the pharmaceutical field. At Future University in Egypt, every experience is designed to build a bridge between education and the ever-changing professional world — because this is where your future truly begins.
