Dental Convoy to Borolos, Kafr El Sheikh

FUE’s Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine sent a Dental Convoy on October 12, 2019 to Kafr El-Sheikh. The convoy comprised two doctors, one nurse and twenty-five graduating students. The volunteer participants gave oral and dental examinations to 100 patients and extracted teeth from 60 patients (tooth extraction is classified as minor surgeries) . In addition to the dental services given, the students conducted awareness campaigns explaining the importance of oral and dental health and urging people not to ignore and to protect their teeth.
