Antibiotic Misuse: Antimicrobial Resistance
On Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, a workshop titled "Antibiotic Misuse:
Antimicrobial Resistance" was organized in collaboration with the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ebada Sarhan, President of Future University in Egypt.
The workshop focused on raising awareness about the dangers of antibiotic misuse and the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance. Two distinguished speakers delivered insightful lectures on the global health risks associated with improper antibiotic usage, stressing the importance of responsible practices and coordinated efforts to address the issue.
The event concluded with an engaging competition, where five outstanding students were recognized and awarded prizes for their exceptional
participation and demonstrated knowledge.
