Modern Advances in Prosthodontics Scientific day

A successful scientific day titled "Modern Advances in Prosthodontics" took place on the 6th and 7th of March 2022, the event was organized under the auspices of Dr. Khaled El Azazy and in the presence of Prof Dr. Ebada Sarhan. The event was supervised by Prof. Dr. Hesham Katamish, Dean of Oral & Dental Medicine The event was coordinated by Prof. Amany A. El Hadary (Professor of Prosthodontics, FUE & Adjunct Professor, Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto, Canada) ) and in collaboration with the University of Toronto.

FUE was honored to host Dr. Eszter Somogyi-Ganss. D.M.D., M.Sc., Ph.D., F.R.C.D.(C), Associate Professor, Discipline of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto and Dr. Babak Shokati. DDS, MSc, MSc, FRCD(c), Assistant Professor, Discipline of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto.

The event took place on 2 days, the 1st day included fruitful interesting scientific lectures that was attended by deans, former deans and professors from different universities in Egypt. The junior staff of the prosthodontics department FUE presented an innovative lecture. Finally the day was ended by our super talented teacher assistant Hossam Faisal (Prosthodontics Department) who entertained and enriched our guests with his exquisite warm voice and sang the breathtaking Elvis Presley’s (Can’t Help Falling in Love).

The 2nd day started with an exciting scientific debate that included professors from the surgery department and our guests from Toronto University and was attended by many of our junior staff from different departments. Later that day the guests from Toronto University had a tour in our dental hospital and our 5th year students were given the opportunity to attend a lecture with them and benefit from their expertise.
