"Professionalism, leadership and planning." Core skills for Future University in Egypt’s training course for its students with the international Society of Petroleum Engineers

As part of its support to its students and providing all methods of skill development and preparation to compete in the regional and international labour market, Future University in Egypt (FUE), in collaboration with the international Petroleum Engineers Society, is organizing a non-technical online training course focusing on professional skills development with
Prof. Esraa Esmat, Senior Accounting Manager at Infinity Engineering Consultancy. The course consists of two main sessions, the first session on Leadership and Control, shall be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 5:00pm, and the second session on Strategic Planning, shall be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 9:00pm, under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Azazy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Future University in Egypt.

Prof. Hesham Arafat, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, stated that the University is keen on developing its students’ skills and providing them with the new knowledge and skills necessary to meet the challenges of sustainable development in society. He clarified that the University aims to graduate generations with the required high level of competence and expertise and is therefore constantly keen on holding training courses that promote the exchange of culture and knowledge.

Prof. Ebada Sarhan, President of FUE stressed that training courses are one of the basic pillars of student development contributing to the qualification and preparation of competent and professional students qualified for the highest ranks and posts, as well as opening broad horizons for the individual in the various fields of work. He pointed out that the courses come within the framework of the University’s support for its students and arming them with the best methods of knowledge.

FUE is distinguished by various faculties and programs which are tailored to meet the needs of the regional, local and global labor market through the University’s faculties; Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Pharmaceutical Industries, Faculty of Oral & Dental Medicine, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Economics & Political Science, Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration, Faculty of Computers & Information Technology.
Future University in Egypt has succeeded in acquiring a new achievement in the QS World University Ranking for the Arab region in 2021, according to a careful evaluation on research, education and other activities. Also, after implementing data confirmation and accuracy verification, the University was ranked 71 among the Arab universities which are estimated at more than 2,000 universities for the year 2021, after it was ranked 111-120 in 2020.

It is noteworthy to mention that the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is an international, professional, non-profit organization that provides services to its members of managers, engineers, researchers and other technical specialists in the oil and gas industry worldwide.
