The United Nations (UN) announced holding a week-long celebration of the International Days for Volunteer, Migration and Disabled Persons for the first time in Cairo. The idea of the celebration was organized by the UN in Egypt in collaboration with Future University in Egypt (FUE) and the Arabian CSR Council, to be held from December 4-5 at the FUE campus in the 5th Settlement.
The event will be attended by Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs, Nabila Makram, several ministers, as well as Arab and foreign Ambassadors to Egypt representing countries in the MEA region.
Furthermore, the week-long celebration is held in partnership with United Nations agencies, including the United Nations Volunteers Program (UNV), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), as well as the United Nations Information Center (UNIC).
