Minister of Public Business Sector. Before entering into politics, Minister Tawfik was a part-time member of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Construction and Building, chairman and CEO of Vantage Securities, chairman of Cairo Solar, President of Arabia Online Securities Brokerage, a co-founder of EFG-Hermes, a chief treasury and capital market specialist at APICORP at the Arab Petroleum Investment Corporation. Minister Tawfik ventured into politics as adviser to Egypt’s minister of finance. Hisham studied MBA in Investment Management at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and obtained a BA in Economics, majoring in Business at the American University in Cairo.
