Dear Colleagues and Friends, In light of the drastic developments in the Middle East and the Arab world, the Faculty of Economics and Political Science (economicspoliticalscience), Future University in Egypt (FUE) in collaboration with the University of Central Florida (UCF) initiative to hold the International Conference on Middle East Strategic Landscape 100 Years after the First World War comes on time. There is a need from both academic and political perspectives to thoroughly think about whether our region is developing from one stage to another or shifting to unknown destiny.
Your participation in the conference as speakers, moderators and discussants reflect your deep concern about the future of the Middle East. We would like to have open discussion among us as citizens of the world on the viability of our states, communities and societies in light of the severe challenges both internal and external. We do hope that our deliberations and research outcomes as well as recommendations will find its way to decision-makers and politicians in the Middle East and worldwide.
Your papers and comments will be prepared to be published in a special issue of economicspoliticalscience journal: Future Journal of Social Sciences (FJSS).
