FUE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NEW ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

On the 11th of April to 14th of April, FUE held the first International Conference on New Energy and Environmental Engineering ICNEEE-2016 at Intercontinental City Stars Hotel.

The Conference was held under the Auspices of H. E. Dr. Mohamed Shaker El-Markaby Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, H. E. Dr. Khalid, Mohamed FahmyMinister of Environment,H. E.  Dr. Mohamed Abd Elaaty Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.

The conference has been sponsored by 12 industrial firms (SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC -SMART SYSTEMS-ARAB CONTRACTORS-BAVARIAN GROUP-ABB ARAB-JANCO-EGYPTIAN SYNDICATE-THREE BROTHERS-PEGESCO-ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC-KITMERE-EGTRAFO).

The opening ceremony of the conference started at 8:00 pm Monday April 11th. Almost 350 persons have attended the ceremony representing different educational institutes and industrial organizations. The ceremony has been honored by the presence of two Ministers: H. E.  Dr. Mohamed Shaker El-Markaby, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy and H. E.  Dr. Mohamed Abd Elaaty, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation and two former Ministers Dr.Abd-Alkawy Khalifa Ex-Minister of Water Utilities and Dr. Wael Aldigwy former Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research along with Dr. Esam Sharaf Former Prime Minister of Egypt.
A number of the Presidents and Vice Presidents of Egyptian Universities, Deans and Vice-Deans of Egyptian Faculties of Engineering along with the chief of the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate, outstanding Professors in the field of Electrical Power Engineering from every Egyptian University and highly qualified professional Engineers were also present. The Audience Was Really An Outstanding Spectrum Of Highly Qualified Egyptian Talents.

The technical sessions of the conference included nine keynote lectures where the speakers are from different countries. In addition, the program included ten paper sessions; six sessions on Renewable Energy and four sessions on Environmental Engineering.
