Welcome Message

Welcome Message

On behalf of Future University in Egypt (FUE), it is with great joy that I welcome you to the 1st Future University International Conference on New Energy & Environmental Engineering "ICNEEE 2016". This international event gathers researchers, educators and experts from governments, the private sector, various international organizations, academia and the civil society involved in the general areas of New Energy and Environmental Engineering to disseminate their latest research results and exchange views on the future research directions.

Today, more people than ever before derive energy from renewables as capacity continues to grow, prices continue to fall, and shares of global energy from renewable energy continue to increase.

Egypt is one of the countries that are located in the “sunbelt” area and is most suitable for solar energy applications.
Egypt Wind Atlas demonstrates that there are many promising areas with high wind speeds in the Gulf of Suez, some areas located on both sides of the River Nile, and some areas in Sinai. These areas are qualified for the establishment of large-scale wind energy projects.

Environmental engineering is the integration of science and engineering principles to improve the natural environment, to provide healthy water, air, and land for human habitation and for other organisms, and to clean up pollution sites. Environmental engineers study the effect of technological advances on the environment to evaluate the significance of hazards, advise on treatment and containment, and develop regulations to prevent mishaps.

Finally I would like to thank all those who have contributed to this Conference and I am confident that the "ICNEEE 2016" will be an excellent opportunity to exchange views and raise awareness of the importance of the two fundamental and linked topics of the conference (Energy & Environment) in enhancing the live in our country and worldwide.
