Prof. Magued Osman, an expert in social statistics and public opinion research, and the Founder and CEO of the Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research "Baseera". Dr. Osman is a Professor, at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, and, the Chairman of Telecom Egypt. He is also a member of the National Council for Woman. He acted as the Chairman of the Egyptian Cabinet of Ministers' Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) from January 2005 to February 2011 when he was appointed as the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in the post revolution caretaker government. He participated in the formulation of the vision for Egypt 2030, the national strategy for population and the national strategy for childhood.
