Prof. Camilia G. Michel, Pharmacognosy Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, has completed her Ph.D. benefiting from a channel system between Cairo University and Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology, Bonn, Germany. She is working as Deputy Manager in the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University and as External Evaluator in the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation for Education (NAQAAE) in Egypt.Her main research interest is in the field of pharmacognosy, phytotherapy and phytochemistry with special emphasis on standardization and formulation of herbal drugs. She has published more than 35 papers in reputed journals and serves as an editorial member for a number of international journals.
