Prof. Pierre Moreau obtained a BPharm and a PhD in pharmacology from Université de Montréal. After years of postdoctoral training, he was appointed Assistant Professor at his alma mater, and promoted to the rank of Associate Professor and Professor. He helped develop an entry-level PharmD between 2003 and 2007, and he was nominated Dean in early 2007. In August 2014, he joined the Faculty of Pharmacy at Kuwait University as Dean, with the intention of bringing pharmacy education to North American standards, developing pharmaceutical research and fostering fruitful collaborations with local stakeholders.
