• Hold a four-year undergraduate degree in business from one of the universities of the Arab Republic of Egypt or an equivalent degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Demonstrate a command of English that exceeds the minimum standards set by the faculty council through meeting one of the following:
  - A TOEFL score of at least 450 (paper), or 45 (Internet) is required.
  - The minimum score accepted for the IELTS academic test is 5.5.
• It is preferable for the student to have work experience of at least one year in the field of work after obtaining the first university degree.

If the number of qualified applicants to the diploma exceeds the number of places available, the faculty council shall determine admissions criteria that are used to decide how places are allocated.
