Incomplete Grades
An incomplete ‘I’ grade may be received in a course if the student is unable to take the final examination, or to complete a major part of coursework when illness, necessary absence, or other non-academic reasons deemed accepted by the faculty council. In rare cases, an extended incomplete grade may be granted to the end of the following semester.
Any student who officially receives an incomplete in a course will be assigned a grade of ‘I’ for the course. If the remaining coursework is not fulfilled within the first weeks of the following semester, the grade will be changed automatically to grade ‘F’.
An Incomplete ‘I’ grade does not enter into the calculation of the CGPA until required coursework is completed and a grade is assigned.
